Concept, branding, product and packaging design for an educational modular synthesizer and an accompanying app.
Translating the often complicated language of subtractive synthesis into a simplified interface that’s meant to support beginners on their learning journey. Every step of the sound design process is attributed a different color to help distinguish them from each other. A mobile app is providing additional visualization to help users understand, what actually happens to the sound while they’re tweaking the knobs.
The packaging is made of environmentally friendly mycelium foam made from mushroom roots.
